Well, woolen hats are a major trend this season…

You don’t even have to worry on how to wear them- the fun part is, this time around there’s no rule to bind you, so pick a color (as long as Pantone approves it for this autumn… or don’t- your choice, right?), add some embrodiery and finish your glittery fancy evening outfit with a woolen hat- Zuhair Murad and Ralph & Russo say it’s okay!

Fur’s also still in. Like never before. You could go crazy with that too.

As many of you may have noticed, I’m more of a dark/natural colors fan. So when Pantone announced the color(s) of the year, I was aware that it was going to take me a while to find pieces to suit me and my taste in these exact two colors. And it did. Eight months into 2016, after almost having given up on even trying to wear this color combination, I find these two one next to the other… in a thrift shop. On the spot, I knew they were worthy for my blog.

Lately I’ve been constantly way too critical of the outfits we shoot and most of them (around 8/10) don’t even make it to the blog. And yes, this is one reason for the lack of posts and huge gaps between them, along with me having a new job, but I do promise to try getting over my perfectionism and to post more frequently.

Summer vibes

So here’s how I feel about skate shoes and their brands: they’ve been incredibly underestimated AND underrated in the past few years. Probably because brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc. managed to steal the market back from them after a decade of skate shoe mania. But, in my opinion, just because a brand’s advertisement and market success are better, doesn’t mean an entire branch of shoe style should be slowly wiped out of the market, as I feel is happening to skate shoes in Bulgaria lately. Most people tend to blindly follow mass trends without even slightly trying to fit something new or different into them, or even better- make it a subtrend.

I for one am not at all ready to let go of the amazing quality and rad look of skate shoes and I do intend to keep trying to fit them back into trend, as I do believe they still have a lot to offer.
